- David BrahamWe are excited to partner with our client on a national infrastructure project that will fundamentally change the future of freight movement across Australia. Part of an independently run organisation, several very significant $1bn+ projects will be delivered across the East Coast over the next 3-5 years, with some projects already part operational. Six Degrees are exclusively recruiting some key national leadership roles as part of the delivery team to design, build and deliver the remaining projects.
As General Manager, Planning Approvals & Sustainability, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, leadership and performance of the specialist planning, environment, and compliance team. You will play a critical role in the early phase of development of the two major multi-billion dollar Victorian projects, as well as a national role on the NSW and QLD projects, in securing and maintaining timely, effective, and compliant project development, construction and operational approvals/consents required by the relevant government jurisdictions. In addition, you will play a role in ensuring sustainable urban design and environmental performance. Influencing and maintaining complex stakeholder relationships (corporate, sub-contractors, consultants, government etc.) while using your government networks to influence outcomes will be the key to your success.
