Strategic Service Enhancement Specialist

The Business Improvement Officer plays a crucial role in enhancing Council's service delivery, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can focus on continuous improvement across the organization, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and strategic alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting systems thinking, performance measurement, and business improvement across teams, departments, and directorates;
- Ensuring alignment with strategic priorities to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and/or increase revenue through the delivery of Council's service review program;
- Liaising with consultants engaged for technical deep dives to ensure quality and delivery of meaningful insights and tangible outcomes that support Council's improvement objectives;
- Tracking and drafting reports on financial and non-financial benefit realization;
- Overseeing reporting on financial and non-financial benefit realization.
