Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement diverse and seasonal menus, ensuring high-quality ingredients and precise food and labor cost calculations.
  • Conduct thorough quality assessments of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation, maintaining our high standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with managers and kitchen staff to address food preparation challenges and enhance service efficiency.
  • Share advanced cooking techniques and provide hands-on guidance to kitchen staff on best practices and preparation methods.
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to perfection, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Educate staff on hygiene regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe kitchen environment.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and mentoring of kitchen personnel to foster a skilled and motivated team.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations, proactively notifying management of low stock.
  • Handle, preserve, and freeze ingredients as necessary to maintain quality and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a culinary role.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food and creativity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
