Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Technical Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing support of our freight forwarding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead engagement for system deployments in existing and new countries
- Investigate and analyse deviations to agreed service levels with offshore providers
- Undertake proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis implementing preventative measures as appropriate
- Develop functional specifications for enhancements / changes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business requirements are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- 5+ years' experience in IT support services within a similar sized multi-national organisation/freight forwarding organisations
- Experience in engaging with key stakeholders and influencing to ensure business requirements are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Experience in COBIT, SDLC and ITIL best practice, IT infrastructure (e.g. Servers, Routers, Firewalls etc.) and Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 is advantageous.

Qualifications:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline
- Formal certification in freight forwarding desirable
