Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the utilization of our truck fleet, optimizing routes, and maintaining schedules. You will also be tasked with accommodating new stores and services into our operations as requested.

Your primary objective will be to maintain the benchmarks for pick-ups, drop-offs, and deliveries for each truck in our fleet.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional to join a dynamic team and make a real impact. You will work closely with our team members to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.

You will be an outstanding written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Experience using Workday HCM system is highly regarded.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate, strategize, and plan for the optimal daily usage of all trucks and associated goods distributions, pick-ups, home collections, and waste collections.
  • Accommodate new stores and services into the run capacity of the truck fleet as requested.
  • Maintain and update standard tasks in runs & schedules as required.
  • Change routings to accommodate emergency and other ad-hoc changes to daily runs as required.
  • Create runs that maintain the benchmarks for pick-ups, drop-offs, and deliveries for each truck in the fleet.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a similar industry is highly regarded but not essential.
  • You will bring your proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service and aligning to our organization's mission and values.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience using Workday HCM system.
