Senior Fertiliser Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the execution of our national bulk fertiliser strategy across South Australia and Victoria/Riverina. In this pivotal role, you will oversee procurement, pricing, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability, margin growth, and operational efficiency.
About the Role:
In this key position, you will be responsible for managing daily fertiliser demand, coordinating timely and accurate order placements, and executing the national supplier ranging strategy in alignment with preferred supplier agreements. You will also monitor and optimise inventory levels, provide guidance on local market pricing dynamics, and support branches with competitive pricing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the national fertiliser category strategy and business plan.
- Manage daily fertiliser demand and coordinate timely, accurate order placements across branches.
- Execute the national supplier ranging strategy in alignment with preferred supplier agreements.
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels and financial reporting related to fertiliser stock.
- Provide guidance on local market pricing dynamics and support branches with competitive pricing strategies.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive category growth and operational improvements.
Requirements:
- Strong background in retail distribution, inventory management, and business planning with experience tracking KPIs.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative leadership approach.
- Results-driven with strong commercial acumen, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
- Highly organised with exceptional self-management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
