About this role

We are seeking a seasoned National Fertiliser Strategy Manager to lead the execution of our national bulk fertiliser strategy across South Australia and Victoria/Riverina.

This pivotal position requires you to oversee procurement, pricing, inventory management, and supply chain coordination to ensure product availability, margin growth, and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with branches, suppliers, and internal teams to align local execution with national objectives, driving category growth and supporting marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and execute the national fertiliser category strategy and business plan.
  • Manage daily fertiliser demand and coordinate timely, accurate order placements across branches.
  • Execute the national supplier ranging strategy in alignment with preferred supplier agreements.
  • Monitor and optimise inventory levels and financial reporting related to fertiliser stock.
  • Provide guidance on local market pricing dynamics and support branches with competitive pricing strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive category growth and operational improvements.
About You
  • Strong background in retail distribution, inventory management, and business planning with experience tracking KPIs.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative leadership approach.
  • Results-driven with strong commercial acumen, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
