About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial analyses of actual, forecast, and budget figures to identify key trends and insights.
  • Perform variance analysis of monthly expenses to spot trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in meetings with cost centre managers to discuss forecasts and preliminary budgets.
  • Develop specific business metrics to facilitate timely and actionable information flow for daily operational and long-term strategic planning purposes.
  • Prepare financial reporting packs for business leads on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor spending, provide insight, and give early warnings to ensure achievement of business financial targets.
  • Identify and monitor areas of risk and/or opportunity, assessing their financial impact on the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial finance, ideally in a technology or consulting business.
  • Experience with budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel formulas and functions.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling.
  • Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion would be advantageous.
