About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Australia. As a key member of the Finance and Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our business in Australia, both in Dermo-Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Controlling & Reporting (40%):
- Partner with the management team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including provisions, accruals, costs allocation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Calculate slow-moving and obsolescence provisions, purchase price variance, restatements of Market Access and Added Value, inventory adjustments, and reconciliation.
- Manage transfer pricing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Commercial Analysis (30%):
- Work closely with commercial teams to analyze pricing, cost of goods, discounts, promotions, and customer hierarchy.
- Support the Commercial Director and Marketing team in making informed business decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis (30%):
- Support managers in cost management, including producing monthly costs trackers and challenging year-to-go assessments.
- Contribute to the financial planning process, including rolling forecasts, budgets, and ad-hoc models and analysis.
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller with a Master's degree in Corporate Finance and/or Management Control. You should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent analytical and communication skills. You should also have a high level of autonomy, be able to think outside the box, and proactively solve issues.
