Midwifery Care Coordinator

About the Job: We are seeking a registered nurse/midwife to provide Maternal Antenatal and Postnatal (MAPs) care. The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA, a minimum of three years' clinical experience, high-level skills in patient education, and awareness of Aboriginal culture and history.
Key Responsibilities: To deliver comprehensive and culturally appropriate midwifery care coordination to families within scope of practice, informed by clinical need and supported by Obstetricians, GP's and PHC services including allied health teams and indigenous outreach workers. Requirements include strong organisational skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks and resources.
Requirements: Current registration as a Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA, a minimum of three years' clinical experience, high-level skills in patient education, experience working in antenatal and postnatal care outside of the acute setting, and demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history.
