Senior Lead, Investigations and Child Safeguarding
Role Overview:This position leads a team of dedicated investigators and provides expert guidance on child safety matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor the investigations team to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Oversee the allocation and progress of complex cases, including historical ones
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure legislative and policy obligations are met
- Drive continuous improvement in safeguarding practices and systems
- Extensive experience in leading investigations involving vulnerable children and young people
- Passion for child safety and sound understanding of Victorian child safety standards
- Strong analytical skills to identify risk and implement solutions
- Bachelor qualification in Social Work, Quality Management, Legal Studies, Compliance and Risk or related field
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to drive results and achieve goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes
