Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing support and assistance to customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Assisting with hygiene and personal care
  • Providing assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
  • Assistance with slide transfers

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support or relevant experience
  • At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 years), CPR (12 months), & National Police Clearance - or willingness to obtain
