The Opportunity: Come and join our team We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Gisborne South. You will be responsible for support a customer with daily living tasks, supporting them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following: * Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home * Providing support with hygiene and personal care * Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment * Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication * Meal assistance which may include meal preparation * Assistance with slide transfers * Must be comfortable with dogs What shifts are we offering? * Wednesdays - 9am to 4pm Additional shifts on offer with local clients To be successful in this role you will have: * A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support or relavent experience * At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker * Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance * NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain What we Offer * Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs and availability * Paid travel between client shifts (minimum distance applies) * Employee referral bonus to the value of $300 * Retail perks and discounts through Flare benefits * Paid induction training when you start * Paid annual training for mandatory modules * On-the-job advice and mentoring from a field support leader * Career pathways * Shine Awards * Employee of the month We are a values-led organisation, we bring energy, act with integrity, nurture and care and we listen and connect.
