Residential Lead Position

Job Description

The Residential Lead is a key role in our organization, responsible for leading a high-performing team of estimators and providing exceptional customer experience. As a Residential Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting the development of residential estimates, processing orders, and coordinating production schedules while maintaining high service standards.

You will collaborate with senior management and internal departments to foster a culture of superior customer experience. Your leadership skills will be essential in coaching, developing, and mentoring a high-performing team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Accurately interpret structural and architectural drawings for steel reinforcing in residential concrete slabs.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to clarify points or uncertainties during the customer experience journey.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Residential Lead, you will require excellent interpersonal skills for working with various people across departments and functions. You should have:

  • Experience as an Estimator and Scheduler, preferably in Building & Construction/Structural Steel.
  • Able to develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Experience interpreting and estimating quantities of reinforcing steel from structural and architectural drawings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and approach problem-solving activities with vigor.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
