We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Hospital Coordinator in our acute care facility. As part of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and quality patient care.
Your clinical expertise, leadership capabilities, and positive approach will enable you to make a meaningful contribution to our healthcare service.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with current AHPRA registration. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as effective analytical and problem-solving abilities, are essential for this role.
In addition to your clinical knowledge, you will need to have experience in managing demands and coordinating resources. Your ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks will be crucial in this position.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise safe, quality care meeting current standards
- Liaise with Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments
- Assist with staffing coordination
- Manage patient flow and operational processes
- Coordinate patient admissions and discharge planning
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Ability to manage demands and coordinate resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
