About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary electrical designs for turnkey high-voltage substation projects.
  • Design and documentation for substation primary systems.
  • Earthing system design, documentation, and studies.
  • Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and specifications.
  • Provide technical support, analysis, and report preparation.
  • Support commissioning of high-voltage systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Chartered or Professional Engineer status preferred.
  • Strong background in HV substation design, layouts, and related civil, structural, and primary electrical elements.
  • Demonstrated experience on large-scale substation projects.
  • Proficiency with CAD software.
  • Familiarity with HV substation construction standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, QA processes, and relevant Australian standards.
