Operational Excellence - Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Inventory Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom and selling floor.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager to achieve operational excellence by implementing efficient inventory management processes
  • Process deliveries and ensure that stock is ready for sale on the floor
  • Manage stock movement, including both in-store and out-of-store transactions
  • Minimize stock loss through effective management of replenishment systems and loss prevention activities
  • Coach and train Back of House Team Members in store loss prevention, inventory management, and stock movement policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position within retail or a related industry
  • Experience working in a Back of House or Warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
  • Team management or supervisory experience is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
