Job Title: Inventory Materials Management Specialist

 

Job Description:
  • The Inventory Materials Management Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective inventory management in support of the Regional Supply Chain.
  • Key responsibilities include optimizing stock holding strategies, maintaining inventory classification, analyzing usage and seasonal trends, drafting reports as required, supporting additional tasks, identifying opportunities for common supply, managing MRP processes, and monitoring repairable/rotable processes.
Accountabilities:
  • The incumbent will be accountable for providing accurate and timely inventory data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve supply chain objectives, developing and implementing inventory management strategies, and monitoring and analysing inventory levels and trends.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in inventory management and control, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Requirements:
  • A degree or certification in a relevant field such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
