Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, purchasing duties, sales, and customer service.
This is a full-time permanent position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work closely with the Warehouse and Sales teams, liaise with suppliers daily, and manage stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing stock control and aged stock
- Liaising with the Warehouse and Sales teams
- Data entry and report generation using company software packages and Excel
- Reconciling purchase orders with invoices and resolving discrepancies
- Processing return merchandise authorizations (RMAs)
- Chasing deliveries and managing estimated times of arrival
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience in wholesale and distribution industry
- Prior experience in purchasing and stock control
- A willingness to combine inventory/purchasing duties with sales and customer service
- Decision-making skills
- Fast typing and data entry efficiency
- Excellent multi-tasking and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
