Job Summary:

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team in the Northern Area of South Australia. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a high level of store presentation.
  • Store Operations: Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members, with a focus on improving sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business plans that drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail management role, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop business plans to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
