Senior Civil Design Engineer

The role of a Senior Civil Design Engineer involves working on diverse projects. This position is responsible for concept and detailed civil design, as well as documentation. You will collaborate with stakeholders and expand your portfolio in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Produce designs according to relevant standards and codes.
  • Deliver design calculations, reports, and drawings under supervision.
  • Provide civil engineering design services to clients.
  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work, and fees.
  • Mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in engineering consultancy.
  • A self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Familiarity with DRAINS, MUSIC, Autocad, and Autotrack software packages.
  • Experience with road design, geometric design, and pavement engineering.
  • Desirable: 12d experience.
