Senior Civil Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, taking responsibility for their own projects and expanding their portfolio.

About the Position
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as necessary
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant standards and codes
  • Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision
  • Provide civil engineering design service to clients as necessary
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work and fees
  • Mentor junior team members
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in civil engineering
  • Ideal minimum 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience
  • A self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently but also comfortable in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Familiarity with Autocad and other preferred software packages
  • Experience with road design, geometric design and pavement engineering
  • 12d experience is highly desired
