Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at The Tasman Hotel, Hobart. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage products, including wine and spirits.
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
