We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient and outreach environment.
Job Description:The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement safe and effective care for patients. This will involve performing comprehensive nursing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing timely documentation of patient progress.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough and accurate nursing assessments of patients, taking into account their medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring that all treatments and interventions are evidence-based and aligned with best practice standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment. You will also require a strong foundation in nursing theory and practice, as well as the ability to critically think and problem-solve.
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care, hospital, or palliative care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
