Job Title: Senior Case Coordination Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide support and advice to our Adoption Services team. As a Senior Case Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting parents considering placing a child for adoption, assessing families seeking to adopt a child, overseeing the arrangements for children placed for adoption, and supporting people seeking adoption information and records.

This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the public sector. You will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and contribute to the important work we do across the state.

The Role:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to parents considering placement for adoption
  • Assess and evaluate the suitability of families seeking to adopt a child
  • Develop and implement plans for the safe and successful placement of children
  • Manage complex issues related to the placement of children in alternative home care and associated legislation

About You:

  • You will need to have relevant knowledge and expertise in the area of adoption, including experience undertaking complex casework and assessments
  • You will also need to have experience managing complex issues related to the placement of children in alternative home care and associated legislation
