Senior Legal Officer and Case Coordinator

The role of Senior Legal Officer and Case Coordinator is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of a national sports tribunal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cases with expertise and provide support for matters coming before the tribunal.
  • Communicate effectively with parties about processes, timeframes, and requirements.
  • Liaise with members to guarantee smooth and efficient dispute resolution.
  • Analyse issues for members from time to time and conduct research as needed.
  • Maintain records and files in accordance with established protocols.

Addional Responsibilities:

  • Arrange facilities, translation services, and transcription services as required.
  • Contribute to strategic solutions, problem-solving, and issue management in client service delivery.
  • Provide legal support, including providing timely, accurate, and consistent information and advice on jurisdiction and processes.
  • Lead activities and projects to promote efficient and effective operation, including procurement, contract, and stakeholder management.
  • Prepare written materials for different audiences, including correspondence, file notes, briefings.

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant legal qualifications.
  • Prior experience in case management and legal support would be highly regarded.

Location:

This role could be based in Melbourne or Canberra.
