About the Role

Our client is aiding in the sustained operation of Naval vessels currently utilized by the Royal Australian Navy.

They are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to play an important role ensuring that all necessary materials are identified, requisitioned, and delivered on time, ready for issue to production.

The highlights:

Main Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Procurement

Identify, requisition, and kit materials and parts essential for maintenance activities, supporting the planning and scheduling processes.

Conduct receipt inspections, manage goods receipting of materials, and report deficiencies, ensuring accurate updates in the ERP system.

Raise requisitions for procurement and support the Project Manager in monitoring progress and addressing urgent part demands.

Asset Management

Assist in building Task Material Lists for various tasks and adhere to WHSE regulations.

Exercise due diligence in maintaining safety standards and support the mission of delivering effective asset management.

About You

Qualification in a logistics or maintenance environment and relevant experience in coordinating parts and materials.

DPN/DSN knowledge with exposure to sustainment projects and experience with MILIS.

Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships across all levels of the business.

Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, deliver results under pressure, and make sound decisions.

Awareness of the importance of meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
