Specialist Physician Opportunity in Gastroenterology

As a Visiting Medical Officer in Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Gastroenterology/Hepatology. This role involves participating in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities under the General Medicine Department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert medical care to patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students and junior doctors.
- Engage in research activities to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Gastroenterology) or other equivalent specialist recognition.
- Demonstrated expertise in gastroenterology and hepatology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
