About the Role

The Port Planner is responsible for developing a daily operational plan for GrainCorp Port Terminals. This involves scheduling the efficient, safe, and timely movement of cargo through the port, adhering to Port Protocols and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and external customers to manage commodity movements into/out-of the port.
  • Oversee rail and road movements into/out-of the terminal for domestic and export customers.
  • Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Capital teams, and Pest Control during planning.
  • Generate reports to communicate plans with relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan labor hours to execute weekly work plans effectively.
