As a highly skilled Maintenance Manager, you will take ownership of the maintenance function across plant facilities and equipment. This critical role ensures smooth operations, maintains safety standards, and drives continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, including inspections of critical equipment and execution of engineering improvement plans to enhance plant performance.
  • Serve as the key liaison between the plant and corporate/regional engineering and projects teams to ensure alignment on maintenance and engineering initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies and programs to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), plant reliability, and long-term asset performance.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring timely execution of maintenance tasks, optimization of spare parts inventory, and continuous reliability improvements.
  • Establish, maintain, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and critical equipment inspection programs to ensure operational integrity and regulatory compliance, including managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Track and manage maintenance KPIs, budgets, and ensure all activities are conducted within financial and operational guidelines while driving cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit capital investment proposals, including equipment design recommendations, layout optimization, cost justification, and overseeing the full implementation lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the engineering, development, construction, commissioning and startup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with legislative and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in plant or facilities maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
  • A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is essential.
  • Ability to work in a production environment focusing on safety, compliance, and efficiency is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety compliance is crucial.
  • Experience managing contractors and maintenance teams in an operational environment is desired.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, along with a collaborative mindset, are required.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to use initiative, is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is necessary.
