About the role
With a significant brownfields hard-rock mining project on the horizon, we're seeking experienced maintenance professionals.
This challenging opportunity involves leading and mentoring a team to ensure safe and efficient operations.
The location is nearby Southern Cross, with roles offered on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO roster from surrounding towns. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Leading a team by setting clear expectations and monitoring performance
Executing maintenance work using efficient equipment servicing strategies to achieve targeted service times and schedule compliance rates
Assisting in implementing safety plans and incident investigations
Developing key internal and external stakeholder relationships About you: As a high-achieving individual with a focus on collaboration and teamwork, you will have previous experience in open cut coal mining. You must possess a mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, as well as extensive post-trade experience in mobile maintenance within a mining environment. You should also have strong written and oral communication skills and proven experience in maintenance planning and condition monitoring.
