About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and capable individual to attend to repairs and maintenance issues and maintain the appearance of the site. This position is casual, with the potential for additional hours to be picked up during peak periods.

Responsibilities

  • Administer all repairs and or maintenance to tools, equipment and machinery
  • Regularly check and attend to general repairs to accommodation and amenities; including fixing toilets and unhinged doors
  • Ensure the sites are maintained and presented at a high standard at all times
  • Carry out garden labour such as pruning, weeding, hedging and mowing in a timely manner and of a high quality condition
  • Ensure the proper and safe use and storage of all materials, consumables and gardening equipment
  • Stripping of beds & removal of all linen from Villas as well as cleaning and maintaining exterior of Villa windows, decking, pathways etc.
  • Other tasks including emptying rubbish bins, and garden restoration

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a handyman or in a maintenance position
  • Driver's Licence
  • Able to work with limited supervision
  • Great customer service skills teamed with a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
