Your Next Opportunity Due to movement within our team, we're on the lookout for a Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Byron Bay Holidays site.
Reporting to the Grounds & Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in maintaining impeccable appearance of the site and attending to any maintenance issues as they arise and in accordance with the requirements of the site, helping us deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and residents, and having fun while doing it
This position is casual, with potential for additional hours to be picked up during busy periods.

Carry out general repairs and upkeep across the site, including accommodation, pool areas, and equipment, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Coordinate contractor work and manage grounds maintenance budgets to deliver high standards within financial guidelines.
Conduct regular WHS checks, follow safety protocols, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and incidents.
Collaborate with team members, respond to resident queries, and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
You're Likely a Match If You Hold a current "C" Class driver's licence.
Have hands-on experience in building and grounds maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
Are proactive, positive, and committed to delivering high levels of service with clear communication and a team-first attitude.
Are comfortable with manual tasks like lifting, bending, and operating tools and equipment across varied terrain and conditions.
Understand of the importance of PPE and safe handling of chemicals, tools, and machinery to maintain a secure work environment.
You're someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference.
You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
