As a valued member of our community, we're seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Professional to join our team at Byron Bay.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on tools, equipment, and machinery
  • Inspecting and repairing general issues with accommodations and amenities
  • Maintaining the site's appearance and presentation standards
  • Completing garden-related tasks such as pruning, weeding, hedging, and mowing
  • Ensuring proper use, storage, and disposal of materials and gardening equipment
  • Monitoring and maintaining a small sewerage treatment plant
  • Other tasks including waste management, pool maintenance, and garden restoration

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working in a maintenance or handyman position
  • A current 'C' Class Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster
