Job Description
Utilise your management expertise to provide leadership and guidance to a high-performing team in the Victorian Public Service.
The Workstream Manager will lead a small team to deliver reform outcomes across the fire services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and guide staff in the delivery of legislative and policy objectives.
- Lead the development and delivery of reform projects.
- Prepare and contribute to high-quality reports and information to deliver reform activities.
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders to deliver key reform outcomes.
About the Role
As a Workstream Manager, you will have a critical role within Emergency Management, Entity Reform Branch. You will work closely with Victoria's emergency services organisations, government agencies, and key stakeholders to coordinate and deliver the government's reform agenda.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong Strategic Policy Skills: The ability to prepare complex advice to government is essential for this role. You will need to demonstrate experience in preparing strategic policy advice and working effectively with government agencies.
Delivering Strategic Reform Projects: Experience in delivering strategic reform projects is crucial for success in this role. You will need to be able to lead a team to deliver high-quality policy and project outcomes.
Highly Developed Writing and Conceptual Skills: As a Workstream Manager, you will need to be able to write clear and concise reports and advice. Your conceptual skills will also be essential in developing and delivering reform projects.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification in public policy, law, emergency management, or a related field is highly desirable for this role.
