Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive transformation and uplift quality assurance in a Tier-1 Financial Institution. This role functions as a Change Leader for the Risk Assurance Division.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative risk management strategies, redefining quality standards across SOX Prudential, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Project domains.
  • Re-engineer processes, lead methodologies, training, and quality frameworks to enhance risk frameworks and drive change.
  • Lead and coordinate annual assurance testing and transformation initiatives, including Analytics & Automation strategies.
  • Perform independent reviews and evaluations, challenging the status quo and ensuring responsibilities are exercised effectively.
  • Maintain updates to the Risk and Compliance Assurance Manual, ensuring tools and methods are fit for purpose.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to enhance risk frameworks and roll out initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Services, including assurance, risk & compliance, quality assurance, practice management, process optimisation, or project management backgrounds.
  • Ability to standardise and optimise controls effectively and efficiently.
  • Outstanding project coordination skills to successfully plan, implement, and drive change & transformation.
  • Potential leadership skills to recruit and manage a team.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CA, CISA, CIA, FRM, MBA are desirable.
  • Technical skills in data analytics, business intelligence, and automation are advantageous.
