Senior Quality Assurance Lead

Our organization is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Lead to oversee all aspects of site quality assurance, leading the QA team and ensuring full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

You will play a key role in managing audits, driving continuous improvement, and supporting product integrity from raw materials through to finished goods. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the site QA team, maintaining and improving the site's Quality Management System (QMS), managing internal and external audits, investigating non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the QA team to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification standards.
  • Maintain and improve the site's QMS.
  • Manage internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness at all times.
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive QA leadership experience in a high-care manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality systems, food safety legislation, and customer standards.
  • Demonstrated success managing audits and maintaining third-party certifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
