Women's Health Nursing Opportunity

This role offers a chance to work in a comprehensive women's health service, providing care to patients across various divisions. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

The Royal Hospital for Women is a leading tertiary referral and teaching hospital that offers a wide range of services, including newborn care, gynaecology, and maternity services. The hospital provides opportunities for clinical practice initiatives and has a strong connection to other healthcare services in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care within designated units
  • Work within policies and procedures to coordinate and deliver high-quality care
  • Provide clinical supervision at the point of care

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Knowledge of risk management and safety principles
  • Commitment to NSW Health Breastfeeding Policy and BFHI Principles
  • Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience in women's health surgical, midwifery or neonatal/paediatric settings
