This role offers a chance to work in a comprehensive women's health service, providing care to patients across various divisions. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
The Royal Hospital for Women is a leading tertiary referral and teaching hospital that offers a wide range of services, including newborn care, gynaecology, and maternity services. The hospital provides opportunities for clinical practice initiatives and has a strong connection to other healthcare services in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care within designated units
- Work within policies and procedures to coordinate and deliver high-quality care
- Provide clinical supervision at the point of care
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Knowledge of risk management and safety principles
- Commitment to NSW Health Breastfeeding Policy and BFHI Principles
- Minimum 1 year postgraduate experience in women's health surgical, midwifery or neonatal/paediatric settings
