Job Opportunity: Activation Manager

This role is centered around managing a service point and coordinating with various stakeholders to create an engaging environment for students, staff, industry partners, and the community.

The primary goal is to drive engagement programs that enhance the experience of all precinct users and oversee a team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with senior management and other high-level stakeholders to align strategic goals and objectives.
  • Designing and delivering annual engagement plans to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
  • Measuring and evaluating the impact of activation and engagement initiatives on stakeholders, industry relations, and community outreach.
  • Overseeing the delivery of student and education support services within the campus ecosystem.
  • Ensuring effective communication with students and the community while maintaining brand consistency and relevance.
  • Nurturing key partnerships with high-level stakeholders to secure resources and support for activation initiatives.
  • Supervising the administration support team to ensure seamless operations.

For success in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant tertiary degree coupled with extensive management expertise and relevant experience or equivalent knowledge through education, training, and/or experience in a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing programs, developing, reviewing, or evaluating significant policies, programs, or initiatives related to stakeholder engagement, student services, and site activation.
  • A proven ability to supervise, influence, and guide staff, fostering collaboration across teams and programs.
  • The capacity to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders, including senior management, industry leaders, and community representatives, to foster collaboration and support activation and engagement objectives.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of university-wide policies or external environment related to stakeholder engagement and community relations.
