Job Opportunity: Construction Administrator

We are seeking a full-time administrator to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to our construction team.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Following up on building inspection reports with surveyors
  • Liaising with clients and the maintenance team to schedule inspections
  • Organising and compiling compliance certificates from suppliers
  • Maintaining and updating a register of maintenance and service warranty jobs
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding warranty items
  • Liaising with suppliers, distributors, and councils to coordinate permits and installations
  • Allocating jobs to various trades on a monthly basis
  • Generating and distributing weekly reports via Excel
  • Coordinating and taking minutes at weekly meetings
  • Event coordination
  • Managing the induction process with trades and contractors
  • Meeting with clients at the office to finalise the settlement process
  • General administration support such as file maintenance and upkeep through CRM systems
  • Providing ad hoc administration support to the team as required

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Residential building and construction experience
