Trading Technology Specialist


Description:

We are seeking a Trading Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing high-performance trading systems, as well as working with trading teams to understand their needs and deliver technology solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Deliver focused improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of the trading platform
  • Contribute to mission critical projects encompassing everything from trading, pricing, positions and risk, through to analytics and market connectivity
  • Work flexibly with a focus on real-time issues as well as long-term projects
  • Performance tuning, maximizing throughput and minimizing latency
  • Ongoing consultation with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfy their needs

Requirements:
  • Development experience in either C++ or C#
  • A scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience working in a High Frequency Trading firm
  • Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
  • Understanding of network protocols
