Piping Designer Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Piping Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with oil and gas industry, particularly in Brownfield development of LNG plants.

This is a unique opportunity to work on various projects including concept select to detail design and implementation. You will be responsible for:

  • Updating PDMS models to incorporate design changes
  • Producing or updating Piping Isometrics Drawings for all area scopes
  • Producing or updating Pipe supports Drawings and indexes
  • Providing MTO's for materials associated with model updates
  • General modelling and detailing duties
  • Updating GA Drawings via PDMS Draft
  • Checking and approving drawings from time to time

To succeed in this role, applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Able to work within a small team (Piping Group) and minimum supervision
  • Experience with Oil & Gas industry, with significant Brownfield experience highly regarded
  • Prior experience on the Gorgon or Wheatstone facility being highly regarded
  • Experience with LNG experience being highly regarded
  • Previous work experience with Oil &Gas construction/operations phases highly regarded
  • Previous demonstrable experience in PDMS Piping modelling required
  • Working knowledge of Oil & Gas specifications and materials
  • Appreciation of Human Performance/Safety in Design
  • Good Communication and Team Working/Collaboration Skill required

About the Role: This is a Perth based role with flexible work arrangements and an 18 month contract. As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality results and supporting our client's technical projects.
