**Job Opportunity:** Principal Piping Designer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Piping Designer to join our team and contribute to some of Australia's significant oil and gas projects.

**Job Description:** As a Principal Piping Designer, you will be responsible for leading design teams and delivering high-quality design deliverables. You will work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to guide/train junior level designers.

**Responsibilities:

  • To drive design teams to deliver quality design deliverables
  • To perform the full range of discipline design and analysis
  • To work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills

**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need to have prior senior designer level working experience in the Offshore LNG, Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering and maintenance project environment. You will also require a tertiary qualification in Engineering/Drafting, minimum 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry, and minimum 5 years in a Principal Design role managing project scopes and resources.

**Preferred Qualifications:** A competency in E3D CAD systems would be highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with good initiative and interpersonal skills
  • Tertiary qualified in Engineering/Drafting
  • Minimum 15 years piping design experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum 5 years in a Principal Design role managing project scopes and resources
