Job Summary

As a Senior Piping Draftsperson, you will play a key role in the design of mineral processing plants and bulk material handling projects. Reporting to a senior leader, you will lead piping design efforts for large-scale EPC projects from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in piping design and drafting within the EPC environment and be proficient in the design layout of mineral processing plants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, models and designs, in accordance with industry standards, policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings.
  • Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure designs are accurate, feasible and meet project requirements.
  • Deliver practical solutions and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members.
Skill Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years' multi-discipline experience in piping design and drafting within the EPC environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of the design layout of mineral processing plants.
  • An advanced diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
  • Proficiency in software such as SolidEdge, SolidWorks or Inventor is highly desirable.
  • Fully qualified and able to work unrestricted in Australia.
