Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT manager to lead our technology vendor portfolio, driving value for money through performance management.

The successful candidate will manage the Bank's IT vendor portfolio, uplifting contract management practices across IT and developing proactive vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Bank's IT vendor portfolio to drive value for money through performance management
  • Uplift contract management practices across IT and develop proactive vendor relationships
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver best practice vendor management
  • Contribute to the broader leadership team, sharing accountability for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT vendor management practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Technology supplier market
  • Demonstrated contract management skills, including facilitation of performance management reporting, contract governance and relationship management
  • Knowledge of state and/or federal government procurement rules, procurement process, tender preparation and evaluation
  • Familiarity with leveraging panel arrangements, including supporting negotiation of contract terms within the constraints of panels
  • Experience in managing IT vendors at strategic and transactional levels
  • Knowledge of contract management with the demonstrated ability to establish and improve governance of technology contracts
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate across departments and peer organisations
  • Qualification in Procurement or Contract Management (e.g., Cert IV, Diploma, CIPS, Adv Diploma)
