Performance Media Leader
About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished digital media specialist to drive success in our digital marketing efforts. As a Performance Media Director, you will lead a team in building, optimizing, and executing successful digital campaigns.
Responsibilities- Leverage innovative media buying techniques to promote artists and drive eCommerce performance.
- Lead by example, setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting campaigns to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support labels in planning biddable media campaigns across display, video, search, and social platforms.
- Manage media budgets, draft and revise media schedules, along with accompanying rationale.
- Ensure campaigns are created and implemented to best achieve campaign performance and media efficiency goals.
- Use insights from internal and external sources to build a case for campaign strategy.
- Build and manage biddable media campaigns within demand-side platforms and across partners such as Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, DV360, etc.
- Collaborate with the wider team to report performance and deliver campaigns in line with performance targets, and with label teams to recommend optimal content and asset creation.
- Cultivate and mentor other members of the PM team to ensure they have the tools and skills to deliver on their campaigns.
- Participate in developing the PM strategy to align with the broader commercial strategy and deliverables.
- Analyze and optimize campaign structures to deliver on KPIs, ensuring accurate measurement and providing hands-on guidance to the team.
- Expert-level proficiency in Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads, with a demonstrable history of optimizing campaign structures to deliver on KPIs.
- Strong expertise in event tracking, server-side tagging, and attribution to ensure accurate measurement.
- Media agency experience preferred.
- 8+ years of direct experience within digital media and performance marketing channels such as paid search, programmatic paid social.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, commerce, media, or other relevant areas are preferred.
- Results-driven, with a strong understanding of event tracking, app conversions, and customer acquisition.
- Experience in marketing with media partners and publications; obtaining and reviewing quotes, making recommendations, and negotiations, etc.
- Ability to analyze performance of channels and shift media spend in response on a regular basis.
- Experience in budget management with an ability to analyze performance of different channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organized, adaptable, and a problem-solver.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide input.
- Excellent at working and delivering against deadlines, thinking proactively with the ability to meet goals under pressure.
