Workplace Safety and Injury Management Role

Corymbia State School is seeking a dedicated and proactive Workplace Safety and Injury Management Advisor to join our team.

This role is vital in establishing and maintaining robust health, safety, and injury management systems from the ground up. The successful candidate will play an active role in Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) by maintaining connections with relevant parties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain connection to the Health and Safety Advisor/Representatives by playing an active role in HS&W.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits and contribute to the implementation of identified corrective actions.
  • Provide operational guidance and advice regarding HS&W, including injury management, to improve HS&W performance.
  • Monitor and report on incidents from MyHR Workplace Health & Safety to identify new or emerging issues, risks or trends and recommend strategies for improvement and corrective actions.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in health, safety and wellbeing (HS&W) and injury management.
