End-to-End Claim Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Consultant to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of claims end-to-end, engaging key stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes for customers, and providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar position involving income protection, life, lump sum, trauma, critical illness, injury, TPD or death claims. Retail, Group or Direct claims case management experience is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end
- Active engagement of key stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes for customers
- Assess, analyse, calculate and finalize claims payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide exceptional customer service including management of claims, communication and inquiries
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and quality management of claims
- Participation in case conferences, peer case discussions, instructing third party service providers
