Leadership Opportunity in Workers Compensation Claims

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workers Compensation Claims Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 15 individuals in managing workers' compensation claims.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting team members in their daily activities of managing workers' compensation claims;
  • Using expertise in workers compensation claims management and legislation to support clients and claims;
  • Recruiting new team members and developing their career journey;
  • Assisting with the ongoing development of team members through collaboration with Technical and Injury Management Advisors;
  • Reviewing claims portfolios and meeting with clients to discuss performance and any issues;
  • Ensuring employees are supported while balancing business requirements;
  • Reviewing team members' performance, providing feedback, and ensuring their progress and success;
  • Contributing to the strategic plan for the division;
  • Supporting other teams during times of absence or increased workload;
  • Analyzing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Participating in and leading projects.

Requirements for the role include:

  • Experience in a workers' compensation leadership, IMA, or Technical Advisor role;
  • Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring and coaching team members;
  • Passion for meeting business objectives and developing ongoing improvements;
  • Honed analytical skills to review financial data and interpret results and reports;
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills to find relevant information and make sound decisions;
  • Flexible approach with ability to identify and support change;
  • Outstanding communication skills.
