Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Claims Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing complex workers' compensation claims, with a strong focus on timely, cost-effective and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with injured workers, employers, brokers, legal vendors, and regulators to develop case strategies and evaluations.
  • They will set and review reserves, escalate issues when needed, and ensure all claims activities meet governance, legislative, and quality assurance requirements.
  • The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Workers' Compensation claims, with strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Western Australia Workers' Compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
  • Excellent decision-making and case planning skills, including setting and reviewing reserves and developing case strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
